Rugby CAMRA Launch new initiative.

Rugby CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) have announced a series of pub crawls to highlight the quality of the hostelries in the area. The crawls, named the 'Friday Four' will be held on the last Friday in each month.
Steve Heighton from CAMRA, who is guiding the events stated 'We have some fantastic pubs in Rugby and also an increasing population, many who have not been on an old fashioned pub crawl. These events are an open event to all drinkers and not just real ale drinkers. On previous crawls we have had a fantastic response and had people from all over coming out for a night with us. They are great fun and support the local pubs and will hopefully encourage more people to try their local and realise what they are missing'.
The first crawl of four pubs starts Friday 31/01/2014 at 8pm at the Raglan Arms on Dunchurch Road, a previous County and Town pub of the year and then heading to the Half Moon, Webb Ellis and the Merchants, another award winning pub.

Hi All For those who could not attend her funeral last week, and those who did and want another chance to chat and reminisce, there will be a meet up and drink to celebrate the life of Sally at the Bartons Arms, 144 High Street, Aston on Saturday March 24th from 1pm. All are welcome. Please feel free to share this amongst your branches where applicable. The Bartons was chosen as it was a pub Sally loved, for its Thai food, its fine ales and splendid architecture.
