Following their success in Pub of the Year 2025, the Windmill were automatically entered in the county judging round for Warwickshire. In this round, the branch winners in Warwickshire are judged by panels from all of the branches.

The Windmill achieved third place behind the Market Tavern in Atherstone and the Old Post Office in Warwick. Congratulations to Gemma and Andy, who were very pleased to see their hard work being recognised.
